Document analysis is a way of breaking down documents and finding unique styles of writing or uses of terms. One of the most important things to do when analyzing a document is to ask questions. 5 steps you can use to effectively use document analysis is to first describe the context, second identify stakeholder needs and develop central questions, third determine the purpose of the document analysis, fourth determine the purpose of the document analysis, and fifth develop document analysis criteria.
One of the biggest things they do in document analysis is finding the writers style of writing. They can do this by measuring the slants of the letters, or if the person uses emphasis on there first or last letters. Such as in the picture below, the top one is the right signature but the other too are different by looking at the "e" and seeing that there "E's" are used differently than in the signature. Also the M's are used differently by the emphasis as you can see they don't use the same slants as they do in the original signature. There are also other ways how you can change the ink. Such as removing the ink by using such things as a razor or alcohol. This would let you be able to create and or change any document you wanted to.
